Tue, 05 Feb 2013 16:25:55
After the success of his debut EP, Tom Curren is catching another wave. The surfer and musician will release his full length album, In Plain View, on April 2, 2013 through Wolfbomb Productions. Recorded at Village Studios and produced by John Alagia, Curren's natural affinity for diverse sound shines through in each of the album's tracks. Combining blues, folk and rock tunes, Curren's style is truly all his own.
"I try to write songs that I would want to listen to, incorporating different styles and genres. I hope to write something that has a foundation in some recognizable and familiar way, but still make something distinctive," Curren said. "And I hope my music comes across as positive, and that it has a positive impact. I try to be positive, and realistic, about what I am writing about, at the same time."
