Once again, T.I. drops one of the fieriest club tracks of the year with "Ball" featuring Lil Wayne. His smooth and solid flow remains utterly enthralling on the song.
It's one of the biggest and best joints we've heard from him since "Swagga Like Us", and it ups the ante again for Atlanta's king in terms of both infectiousness and raw rhyme skill. Over a propulsive beat with wiry production and syncopated clapping, T.I. and Lil Wayne trade smart, shark, and slick verses culminating on the hyper hot refrain, "This club so packed, these hoes so drunk".
Brandishing that clever sense of humor, T.I. raps, "She let me drill all in her mouth, no Novocain," while Weezy smiles, "I'm a good looking rapper. I ain't trying to stunt".
"Ball" shows that T.I. still owns the club and the streets, and it also heightens excitement for his next full-length, Trouble Man, tenfold. To this day, nobody can match their swagga…
