Take Aim: Amy Sciarretto vs. Biblical's Nick Sewell
Tue, 11 Mar 2014 15:47:49
Time to get Biblical, quite literally, as Nick Sewell, vocalist and bassist of Biblical, agreed to participate in a Take Aim sesh with us to promote the March 11 release of Monsoon Season [iTunes link]. Get to know a new band and thank us later for making the intro.
We would like to take a moment to thank Nick Sewell for playing nicely.

Punishingly heavy, cloaked in texture and dynamics—Biblical is the sound of mountains splitting and oceans parting.
If you were not doing music, you would be…
International arms dealers.
Any non-music hobbies, talents or skills?
We're fantastic dancers. Not that we're any good; we just have no shame.
Pick ONE song one your record and share a writing or recording story. Something intimate, that you haven't told anyone else (or at least a bunch of writers or journalists) and that which puts us in the moment with you.
The song 'Married Man' on our album [Monsoon Season] was originally written and recorded to resolve into the final verse and chorus of The Misfits song 'Come Back.' But since it wasn't a straight cover, we couldn't just pay for the publishing license—we had to reach out to get clearance from the dark lord himself – Glenn Danzig. Unfortunately, we didn't get word in time to make our deadline and had to re-track the vocals. But we like to imagine him listening to the tune and nodding in approval.
Finish this sentence: Biblical is the artist that…
...gets your noggin' noddin.
Listen to Biblical's "Second Sight" below.
We love EVERYTHING about Biblical. We bet the 'Zig would, too, if he took a long listen to their music.
Are you feeling Biblical?
