Take Aim: Amy Sciarretto vs. Hamish Anderson
Tue, 02 Dec 2014 15:04:52
Today, Hamish Anderson, a guitar phenom from Down Under with a legit cool name, is our Take Aim opponent.
He is our new guitar playin' crush, too. We love him, his talent, his music and his name.

I'm a 23 yr old blues/rock guitarist & singer songwriter from Melbourne. Touring the US and Australia promoting my second EP Restless. [iTunes link]
If you were not doing music, you would be...
That's a good one— probably something to do with the creative arts/film... like a writer or director.
Any non-music hobbies, talents or skills?
I like to read and am interested in history, does that count?
Yes, it counts! Pick ONE song on your record and share a writing or recording story. Something intimate, that you haven't told anyone else (or at least a bunch of writers or journalists) and that which puts us in the moment with you. Let's get intimate, shall we?
'Street Lights...' I started writing that when I was 19, when I was just getting into a relationship and I finished it when I was 22 and just getting out of it. The recording was really the first time we ran through it. We hadn't even rehearsed it or played it together as a band. It all just came together. It was also the last song we recorded during the Henson sessions.
Finish this sentence: Hamish Anderson is the artist that...
...wants to continue to shed light on the importance of the history of the blues to anyone that is open to it.
Anyone plan to check out Hamish Anderson and his awesomeness?
