Take Aim: Amy Sciarretto Vs. Iron Reagan's Tony Foresta

Those "sensual steamrollers" –their words, not ours— in Iron Reagan are releasing The Tyrant of Will today, September 16, via Relapse Records. What better time than now to invite the band's Tony Foresta into the Take Aim ring? He is a fan of all things sensual, just so you know.

We started 2 years ago. It was supposed to be a project for us to be able to play locally and hang out with friends we enjoy playing music with and quickly blossomed into the sensual steamroller you see now.
If you were not doing music, you would be...
...Bartending, tour managing, or most likely being the drunk homeless guy that's having more fun than you.
Any non-music hobbies, talents or skills?
I do all kinds of shit. In the summertime, I'm all over the place. I was in an indoor volleyball league for a couple seasons until I broke my ankle really bad and almost couldn't go on tour. It was a bummer. I also like to fish, collect records, work on my old ass house and ride my bike.
Pick ONE song on your record and share a writing or recording story.
'The Living Skull.' This was one of the first songs we wrote for the Tyranny of Will. It's about a night on the GWAR tour when [the late and much missed Dave] Brockie put on this ski mask and embodied the character of 'The Living Skull' he sat on the side of the stage while Reagan was playing and literally threw liquor bottles at us. By the time we were done with our 30-minute set, we could barely walk. About 15 minutes after that, we completely destroyed our dressing room. Annihilated it. Wait... when I say 'we,' I mean 'he.'
'The Living Skull' single-handedly destroyed our dressing room. Tables, mirrors, bags, food all destroyed. One of the most memorable gigs I've ever played.
...Something intimate, that you haven't told anyone else (or at least a bunch of writers or journalists) and that which puts us in the moment with you. Let's get intimate, shall we?
I prefer getting sensual more than getting intimate so here's an intimate tale. The first time I saw Metallica I got a hand job while they were playing. That was two weeks ago.
Finish this sentence: Iron Reagan is the artist that...
...mixes hard riffs, hot bass licks, rabid drums and raw sensuality creating music that makes you want to either fall down, mosh or make love.
