Honestly, I have no idea, I can't imagine being involved in a different field and actually having fun.
Any non-music hobbies, talents or skills?
Well before I did this, I used to do Triathlon pretty seriously. I'm also pretty good at relaxing and doing nothing at all.
Pick ONE song one your record and share a writing or recording story. Something intimate, that you haven't told anyone else (or at least a bunch of writers or journalists) and that which puts us in the moment with you. Let's get intimate, shall we?
Well, while we were at the Machine Shop tracking our album, there was a really bad hurricane that pretty much destroyed half of N.J., which is where we were located. That was crazy for us. We'd never had anything like that happen to us before. What I didn't tell anyone else is that the only grocery store where we could get our food from was this really shot place called Food Basics.
During the hurricane, somebody came in with a truck and pretty much unloaded the entire store into the back - from oats and milk to the registers, it was all stolen. This was while there were power lines and roofs flying around left right and center. During the night, the river three blocks down burst its banks and flooded the store too. As funny as some people might find all of this, it really sucked for us because every restaurant was closed and to be honest we couldn't really afford that anyway. We had to live off whatever the 7-11 down the street had for the last week we were there and I'm never having a slushy again.
