Stiff Little Fingers, punk rock LEGENDS, are working on a new album, due out this year. Of course we invited them for a Take Aim. Any time, any place.
We nabbed some time with bassist Ali McMordie while the band was in the studio.

140 words: Band formed by Jake Burns (vocals & guitar) in Belfast, Nth Ireland 1977 in middle of civil conflict. Self -financed first single Suspect Device on label Rigid Digits with help from Gordon Ogilvie (manager & co-writer) to critical acclaim based on personal experience of 'The Troubles' and championed by Radio One DJ John Peel, moved to London, released first independent album to chart UK on Rough Trade. Signed to major label Chrysalis, released 3 more studio LPs, broke up 1983, wandered around for a bit, reformed 1987, toured and recorded extensively with various lineups through present day with original bassist Ali McMordie re-joining 2006. Praised by acts like U2, Green Day as a major musical & political influence. Currently recording tenth studio album in Hollywood, CA with promotional tours planned for Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Europe & North America.
