The Treatment are touring with Kiss and Mötley Crüe. Uh, yeah, so they must know friends in high places, right? Or they are just that good? We had to find out, so we invited the band to engage in a Take Aim, which is about as big as getting on the same stage for Kiss and Crue. We found out that 12-year-old kids kicked their ass in a friendly game of football, so we weren't scared!

Ben Brookland, the lead guitarist, was the lucky customer and went mano y mano with Amy Sciarretto.

Do you have any non musical skills or hobbies or talents?

Not really, a few of us thought we were good at football until went over our local village green for a game. We played a bunch of 12-year-old kids half our size who hammered us it was embarrassing . If we have got any other talents we haven't found them yet. I think it's purely musical as far as we know.

Pick one song off your album This Might Hurt and put us inside the process - share a writing or recording story.

"The Doctor" is a favorite, It started life as just a riff and it was basically written in the studio. We always get the songs in rough shape at rehearsals and then Laurie Mansworth, our producer/manager, goes through it with us. When he thinks the arrangement is at its best. and all the performances are good we record the song . He is a hard task master and pushes us very hard but we prefer this, we really enjoyed making This Might Hurt it was a lot of fun.

If you were not doing music, you would be...

That is a tough one. None of us are rocket scientists so it would probably be some horrible manual labor job. We have dedicated all our time to music from a very young age. We have been living and playing together since we were 14 years, I don't think anybody left school with great grades so there wouldn't be a great choice of careers open to us.

Opening for Kiss + Crue? Who did you pay off?

We are completely blown away to be on this bill. Nikki Sixx saw one of our videos and tweeted about it, it kind of snowballed from there really. We were so excited that he liked our band and we were looking forward to meeting him. We are very grateful to both Kiss and Motley Crue for giving a new band like us an incredible opportunity to open the show for these two legendary bands.

Favorite Crue song? Favorite Kiss Song?

"Doctor Feelgood" and "Detroit Rock City."

    Did you like The Treatment?
