Take Aim With Prince Malik

Bilingual pop star Prince Malik is about to issue his album Life Style. His single "Makusa" is currently charting at Spanish radio and preparing to cross into mainstream. While relatively new to the music scene, Prince Malik has already amassed an impressive series of collaborations with artists like Fat Joe, Jim Jones, Yung Joc, Meek Mill, Pitbull, Lil Mama, Juelz Santana and more. "Makusa" is an uptempo club anthem and will be followed by a series of high energy singles and pop ballads, starting with "I'm Here to Drink" feat. Sean Kingston due out in the coming weeks. Holla!
Prince Malik is ambitious, as well, with plans to shoot a video for every song on the album. Several are already complete. He's also a self-made "Billionaire," as that's one of his singles!
All of these facts made him a prime candidate for the latest edition of "Take Aim" with Amy Sciarretto.
If I wasn't making music, I'd be:
If I wasn't doing music I would probably be traveling around the world and trying everything once before its my time to go.
Pick one of your songs and put us there with you - share a writing or recording story, like how you were inspired to write a lyric or come up with a melody or if there was paranormal activity in the studio. Anything fun/colorful?
One track that is very special to me would be "Best Friend Lover," which is due out shortly. I met this amazing person who surprised even me. It's about how one person can have such a amazing and positive impact in ones life. I wanted to share this feeling and track with the world.
Do you have any non-music skills or hobbies?
Yes I love to go skydiving, riding motorcyles, flying helicopters and traveling.
How does one become a self-made "Billionaire?"
You have to work hard! Nothing comes easy but it's worth the work.
Got any fun stories about working with Lil Mama?
Lil Mama is a great person to work with and I definitely enjoyed recording with her. She's exactly what you'd expect, she's smart and funny and likes to have fun just like she talks about on her records. That's what drew me to her in the first place!
