Talking Heads' Singer David Byrne Suing Florida Governor

Talking Heads vocalist David Byrne has issued a lawsuit against Charlie Crist, the governor of Florida. Byrnes alleges that the politico used the band's 1985 single, "Road to Nowhere" without seeking permission or proper licenses. See, if you use someone's music without asking them, you violate intellectual and artistic property laws, kids!
In a suit filed Monday afternoon in Tampa, Byrne is seeking $1 million damages from the Gov'nor, who once served as the state's Attorney General, as well as his senatorial campaign, claiming that they used the song earlier this year as part of website and YouTube advertising. Byrne says that Crist attacked his primary opponent, Marco Rubio, using the song. Crist was initially a Republican candidate, but has switched horses in mid-stream and is now running as an independent. I guess Byrne isn't much of a Republican, huh?
Do you think Byrne is more bummed that a former Republican used one of his songs or that he used it without asking?
