Taylor Swift Addresses Critics That Say She Only Writes About Her Exes

Haters gonna hate, hate hate.
Taylor Swift has addressed and responded to critics that have accused her of solely penning songs about her exes and failed romances.
She thinks its sexist, yo!
"I think frankly that's a very sexist angle to take," Swift retorted. "No one says that about Ed Sheeran. No one says it about Bruno Mars. They're all writing songs about their exes, their current girlfriends, their love-life, and no one raises a red flag there."
You know, T. Swizzle does have a point there…
…plus, she is writing what she knows, which is smart. Love is a universal subject.
The singer and songwriter furthered, "My first album came out when I was 16, so I would write about my life as I saw it, as I felt it and then what happens is that as you get more successful, you have more and more people paying attention to what you're doing, and you've been doing it the same way your entire career as a songwriter, but all of a sudden your perspective has changed."
< Amen, sister.
"The most important thing to me is maintaining artist integrity which means as a songwriter I still continue to write about my life," she declared.
And that's why we love her.
1989 is out next week [iTunes link].
