CartTaylor Swift Authorizes Source to Talk About Harry Styles Split in Vanity Fair

Taylor Swift will grace the April 2013 cover of Vanity Fair and in her feature, the singer revealed that she is sick of being criticized for writing about her love life in her songs. She also authorized a source to speak about her now-defunct relationship with One Direction's Harry Styles.
She even pulled the women's lib card.
"For a female to write about her feelings, and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her, I think that's taking something that potentially should be celebrated—a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way—that's taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist," Swift said.
She did not talk about Harry Styles of One Direction, her most recent ex, directly. But she did authorize a source to do so.
That source said he "wore her down," telling her "You're amazing—I want to be with you. I want to do this." They tried hooking up but split when photos of him making out with someone surfaced. He tried to text her a warning, saying it was a goodbye kiss. Still, he gave chase, but Swift still felt "he's looking at every girl" while they were together. The source also said "he just didn't want to keep it going" when it ended.
