Taylor Swift's smash single "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" has been sitting pretty at numero uno on Billboard's Top Country Songs chart for nine weeks, setting a new record for most weeks in the top slot by a female artist.

Previously, country singer Connie Smith held the record for a whopping 48 years, landing at No. 1 for eight weeks with her debut single, "Once a Day," in 1964.

Buck Owens passed the nine-week mark with his 1963 smash "Love's Gonna Live Here," which sat in the top spot for 16 weeks. Swift breaks the record, gender-wise. Owens holds the overall record.

    Congrats to Swift.

Do you dig "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together?"
