Taylor Swift CoverGirl Mascara Ad Pulled Due to Photoshopping

A beauty ad featuring Taylor Swift has been pulled over complaints the shot was altered via Photoshop. That is a definite no-no in the beauty world. Swift appeared in a print ad for NatureLuxe Mousse Mascara by CoverGirl as she is a spokeswoman for the line. Her lashes were enhanced digitally and therein lies the problem.
Readers complained the image of Swift had been digitally altered, and officials at the National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus launched an investigation into the issue. CoverGirl makers Proctor & Gamble have "discontinued the advertisement in question" after the complaints.
A statement from NAD chiefs claimed: "The advertising at issue featured a celebrity looking up to highlight her long eyelashes. Beneath was the disclaimer 'lashes enhanced in post-production.' 'Upon receipt of NAD's initial inquiry, the advertiser advised NAD it had permanently discontinued all of the challenged claims and the photograph in the advertisement."
Would you use CoverGirl products since Taylor Swift endorses them?
