New Taylor Swift Song Alert!!
Taylor Swift will unlock "Out of the Woods" on iTunes today, Tuesday, October 14, giving her fans a new track and a peek at what is to come on 1989, out on October 27.
The song was written by Taylor Swift and Jack Antonoff of Bleachers and Fun. And of Lena Dunham BF fame, of course.
The song was produced by Antonoff and Swift, with vocal production by Max Martin for MXM Productions.
That's some set up, right? It already sounds good on paper. But wait! Swift offered her insight on the track, too.
"’Out of the Woods is one of my favorite songs on 1989," said T. Swizzle. "A goal of mine on this album was to set a sonic landscape and have the music sound exactly the way the emotions felt."
The singer continued, "This song is about the fragility of some relationships. Musically, I wanted to convey that kind of frantic feeling of wondering. This song stresses that even if the relationship is breakable and fragile, it doesn’t mean it isn’t worthwhile and beautiful and all the things we look for."
Wow. That's powerful stuff right there. She is right. Despite it's fragility, it's STILL worth it. Remember that next time you start dating.
Check it out via JustJared.com. And by all means, buy it at iTunes. Will you go "into" the "Woods" with Taylor Swift today?
