Taylor Swift revealed tons of key information last night during her live webchat. She will release the 16-song Red on Oct. 22. She also played her new single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," which is available on iTunes now [iTunes link]! It's a total singalong stomper!

Swift shared the meaning behind the title and the album, saying, "I wrote a song called 'Red' and thinking about what that means to me and all the different emotions that are written about on this album; they're all about the tumultuous, insane, intense, semi-toxic relationships I've experienced in the past two years."

So it’s confessional Taylor Swift, at her best! She also worked with co-writers on this album, something she did not do on Speak Now. Swift also said that the new single is about her ex-boyfriend.

Did you check out "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" yet?
