American rockers The Black Crowes, featuring Kate Hudson's ex-hubby and baby daddy Chris Robinson, will be going on hiatus after the August release of their new album, Croweology. But the band is not going gently into that good night. Rather, they will spend four months on the road and only then head off into the sunset for the time being. The tour is being dubbed the "Say Goodnight to the Bad Guys" tour, in a thinly veiled reference to their upcoming inactive period.
According to an interview Robinson conducted with Rolling Stone, the hiatus is indeed an indefinite one. "Two years, five years, ten years – you never know when you jump into the void," Robinson is reported as saying. The band is taking a break while the members are in a "good mood" –which we can only assume means that they are in a positive head space and not sick of being in The Black Crowes yet. The members are also electing to spend more time with their families.
Do you think The Black Crowes will return or do you think this spells the end, my friend?
