While the untimely passing of Ike Turner has derailed his Pitchfork-reported side project with Danger Mouse and The Black Keys, the act's other two parties have managed to track the Keys' fifth LP, Attack & Release. Due out on April 1, the Danger Mouse production features barely any beats, but it does have guest spots from past members of Tom Waits' band, guitarist Marc Ribot and multi-instrumentalist Ralph Carney (the uncle of Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney). Not to mention the angelic singing of an 18-year-old blueglass singer named Jessica Lea Mayfield on the closing song "Things Ain't Like They Used to Be."

In the meantime, the stripped-back rock duo will play South by Southwest and about a month of tour dates spread between late March and mid-May.
