The Chainsmokers were one of the biggest artists of 2016, and they still haven't dropped a full LP. But that is going to change soon, as it has been announced that their debut album will be coming out sometime this April, though there is no official release date at this point.

The New York duo teased a major announcement on social media for January 30th, and announced their first full-length record and a massive arena tour encompassing 40 North American cities. Coldplay actually beat The Chainsmokers to the punch, Tweeting, "excited for @thechainsmokers' album; I've heard some songs and I love them. Cm." The duo confirmed the news saying, "Hey Pack, guess the cats out of the bag. We are doing this for you!"

The tour is set to begin April 13th in Miami, Florida, and hit 40 cities across North America. They'll be making stops everywhere from Albany, New York to San Antonio, Texas. The concert series will come to an end with two shows in Queens, New York on June 9th and 10th.

The Chainsmokers first broke out in the summer of 2015 with the top 10 Billboard 100 hit "Roses" [ft. Rozes]. In July of last year, the band received their first Billboard number one when "Closer" [ft. Halsey] hit the top of the charts. It's truly an exciting day for fans of The Chainsmokers, who will finally get to listen to a complete record from the twosome.
