The Chainsmokers Tie Beatles' And Bee Gees' Simultaneous Top 10 Songs Record

It's finally happened, The Chainsmokers — who have referred to themselves as the "Nickelback of EDM" — are finally on the same line as The Beatles. It all happened yesterday when the new Billboard Hot 100 charts were unveiled, and a new Top 10 was installed.
Last week, The Chainsmokers released their collaboration with Coldplay, "Something Just Like This," and as expected it became a top 10 hit. It joins two other Chainsmokers tracks in the top 10, "Paris" and "Closer" [ft. Halsey]. Now, the band is one of only three artists who have ever had three singles simultaneously in the top 10, the other two being the Beatles and Bee Gees. In good news, it seems like no one is going to touch the Fab Four's historic feat of holding all five of the top slots on the chart back in 1964.
Not surprisingly though, it was Ed Sheeran who won the day. As reported yesterday, his album broke all sorts of streaming records and "Shape of You" broke it's own single day streaming record."Something Just Like This" is set to appear on Coldplay's upcoming Kaleidoscope EP, which is due out June 2nd via Parlophone. The Chainsmokers debut LP, Memories...Do Not Open, is due out April 7th through Disruptor and Columbia Records.
