The Cure Drummer Wants to Reconcile With Band

The Cure's original drummer, Lol Tolhurst, is ready to reconcile. The skinsman says he wants to bury the hatchet with singer Robert Smith and rejoin the band to celebrate the 30th anniversary of 1981's Faith. The Cure celebrates things? It doesn’t seem right. They are so romantically dreary.
A little history lesson: Tolhurst was kicked out of the Cure in 1989 and ultimately sued Smith in the '90s for royalties and part ownership of the band's name. Drama, with a capital "D."
Should Tolhurst and Smith let bygones be bygones? Can they move forward? Should they?
