Fall 2007, I don't care about you; it's Spring 2008, I'm in love
The Cure's New Album Delayed Again
Geffen announced today that the release date for The Cure's new album has been pushed back once again. The yet-to-be-titled 13th album from the iconic British rockers was originally slated for an early 2007 release, but due to the time constraints of touring and working on their live DVD "The Cure: Festival 2005, the official unveiling of their new set of songs will be delayed until spring 2008.But good things come to those who wait, as the Cure’s belated offering promises to be a hefty one. The new album is currently set to be a double-disc release, with songs culled from a collection of new material so large that frontman Robert Smith claims, "I've lost track of the number of songs we've got." So stay optimistic. Remember: every cloud has a silver lining. Wait a second, Goths don't talk like that...
