The-Dream Being Sued

Producer and performer The-Dream is being sued over a 2010 car accident that occurred in Georgia. He was not involved in the accident, but someone who does work for him was, which caused the victim to name him in the suit, since she claims the person she was in the wreck with was on The-Dream's clock.
Victim Elaine Nowells allegedly broke her back (OUCH!) and suffered physical and emotional pain after her car collided with a vehicle driven by Patrick Thall, a supposed employee at The-Dream's label Radio Killa Records.
Nowells is now suing Thrall, The-Dream and his associates, claiming Thrall was reportedly on-duty at the time of the crash, making the company liable, as well.
Not so fast, says The-Dream, who quickly shot back, telling TMZ that "Pat Thrall Is NOT an EMPLOYEE of Radiokilla Records, IDJ (Island Def Jam), or any of its affiliate companies. He is an independent contractor who was on the way to his hotel when the accident occurred. We are sorry to hear about her injuries and we hope she gets better. We are almost certain that her attorneys put pressure on her to file a lawsuit. Unfortunately, that's the NEW American Dream. Can't win in life, sue someone who can."
Nowells is seeking damages to cover the cost of her medical bills.
