We've heard of six- minute songs and think those are often too long, but six hours? Really? Really!

The Flaming Lips have recorded a six-hour song (!!!) dubbed "Found a Star on the Ground" in order to raise funds for The Central Oklahoma Humane Society and The Academy of Contemporary Music at The University of Central Oklahoma! Hey, at least it's for a good cause.

The tune will be housed in a newly-developed toy called The Strobo Trip. This unique device has been called "A Light and Audio Phase Illusions Toy" to use in conjunction with "Found a Star On the Ground." In addition to the six-hour song, The Strobo Trip will also contain two more brand new songs, and proceeds will benefit the two aforementioned charities.

The toy will be available soon.

We love music + toy fusions.

Are you going to check out The Strobo Trip? Is this confusing to you?
