The Foo Fighters recently played fundraisers for victims of the Australian floods and New Zealand earthquakes. The shows, which took place in March, earned $1 million in funds.
Michael Gudinski's Frontier Touring Company organized and promote the shows, which took place March 22nd at Auckland Town Hall and March 27th at the Riverstage in central Brisbane, according to Billboard.
The first of those concerts raised NZ$ 354,903 ($284,000) for the New Zealand Government Christchurch Earthquake Appeal while the Australian gig raised A$770,717 ($837,00) for the Queensland Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal.
Big ups to the Foo Fighters for participating in such a good cause.
