The Hives Invade North America

We reported a few weeks back that the Swedish garage rock-devotees will be touring alongside Maroon 5. So while these bands may seem like strange bed fellows, The Hives have decided to rock out in the glow of Adam Levine's soulful croon to support their forthcoming Interscope Records release The Black And White Album, out on October 9.

For this album The Hives look to update their revivalist sound with help from some of today's hottest producers including Pharrell Williams and Timbaland. If these songs are as good as their previous Timbo collaboration "Throw It on Me", The Hives stand to add a few unsuspecting Maroon 5 fans to their collective.
