The Hollywood Corner is Reminiscent of "1" from The Beatles

The Hollywood Corner has always reminded me of The Beatles' 1 album for some reason.
Perhaps, it's because every time I've been there I was blown away by the diverse culinary delights on the menu and the warm, inviting atmosphere. By the same token, I'm always completely struck by every song on the CD. Like that collection of #1 hits from The Fab Four, The Corner's menu is all hits that any palette would immediately become excited over. A personal favorite, the buttermilk fried chicken breast, is like their "Penny Lane" for me. It's a delectable combination of smooth gravy and perfectly fried chicken—crispy and scrumptious. In addition, when it's surrounded by French Fries, it always equals true bliss.
The service is exceptional, and every area restaurant could take note. There's a family vibe to the restaurant that instantly welcomes, and it's so rare in this town.
However, like that track list of classics from The Beatles, every item on the menu from the burger to the pancakes is bound to satiate even the most discerning diner at any time of day whether it's at breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There is one treat for everyone though that's as sweet as "Hey Jude" or "Let It Be", and that's their delicious red velvet cake. It's perfect even after breakfast. How rock 'n' roll is that?
Have you ever been to The Hollywood Corner [1156 N. Highland Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90038]?
