The Horrors supported Florence + the Machine in the UK, but it doesn't mean they want to headline huge arenas on their own.
Guitarist Joshua Hayward told NME.com that "arenas are crazy, the lights are so bright it's like your playing on your own, you can't see anyone. I don't think The Horrors will ever play arenas. Doing arena tours are not as fun because you're in the middle of bloody nowhere and just surrounded by horrible white walls."
He continued: "When we tour we like to go out into the town and have a look around and actually enjoy our time there rather than just sitting around and waiting. I can see why people who do arena tours all the time end up going mental because you've just got nothing to do."
The band will record its fourth album and the follow up to Skying this fall, after they wrap their summer tour.
He said, "In the autumn we're going to write a new record, we'll go back into our studio and record it and hopefully get it out as soon as we can. We haven't started it yet because we all write together, but we've all got a few ideas."
