The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion to Release New Album in September

Indie rockers, we've got good news. The dormant (at least from making albums) band The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion will release their first new album in eight years on Sept. 18.
Meat and Bone is 12 tracks and is the follow up to 2004's Damage, which was issued under the Blues Explosion moniker, sans the "Jon" and the "Spencer."
Spencer said, "We still have that psychic glue that allows us to create music together. Over the course of a year touring and writing new songs and recording, we rediscovered our shared history as a band. We circled the wagons, and went back to our roots. In a way this is almost like another first album."
Do you want to feast on Meat and Bone?
