The 40th Anniversary of The Ramones is coming up in 2016 and the estate of the band plans to celebrate.
The anniversary is in 2016, 40 years after the first album came out. The upcoming projects include a documentary, since the estate has secured footage that has never been seen before.
A lot of it is road footage from the '70s and '80s, shot by someone named George Seminara.
A theatrical play, a book and a film, to which Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese is attached, are also on the horizon.
According to Billboard, the book is not biographical, but it will include prose, photographs and memorabilia and posters, documenting the scene.
Remastered music, fashion and music placements are in the works, too.
