When you are approaching your 50th year as a band, what's the big deal about waiting one more year to celebrate? Well, The Rolling Stones have delayed their 50th anniversary tour until 2013. So they can celebrate 51 years of rock.

The Stones debut gig took place in London on July 12, 1962, and fans and rock historians have long been expecting Mick Jagger and co. to celebrate with a world tour.

Guitarist Keith Richards revealed to Rolling Stone that the tour will happen, just not in 2012. "Basically, we're just not ready. I have a feeling that's [2013] more realistic," he said.

Does a 50th anniversary tour during their 51st year count?
