The Rolling Stones' longtime saxophonist Bobby Keys has died. He was 70 years young.

Keys died at home in Tennessee on Tuesday, December 2.

Keys had been suffering from cirrhosis and had to bail on touring with The Stones recently due to his health.

The band issued the following statement: "The Rolling Stones are devastated by the loss of their very dear friend and legendary saxophone player, Bobby Keys. Bobby made a unique musical contribution to the band since the 1960s. He will be greatly missed."

    R.I.P., Bobby Keys.
