    The Roots will lay out the blanket and the basket for their fifth annual Roots Picnic, which will take place in Philadelphia over the June 2 and 3 weekend, which is a Saturday and Sunday.

    There will be two stages for a variety of musical acts.

    The Roots will headline on Saturday, along with De La Soul (backed by the Roots), a James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem) DJ set, Wale and St. Vincent. Kid Cudi will headline on Sunday with Major Lazer, Chill Moody and more.
