Wanna hit the high seas with The Roys next January?
Back by popular demand, one of today's top young bluegrass artists, The Roys, will be sailing on the Country Music Cruise.
The Roys immediately captured the hearts of fans on board January's ship with impeccable musicianship, a deep appreciation of the roots of Bluegrass, and a timeless family harmony sound and were quickly asked to return when the Country Music Cruise sails again in January 2015.
"The Roys were one of our very first acts to perform on the 2014 cruise and we immediately invited them back in 2015," says Senior Vice President Live Entertainment Mike Jason. "They helped open the cruise, performed to enthusiastic fans several times during the week and were a big part, along with Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers Band, of our Gospel & Inspiration Hour."
"Being invited to play on the Country Music Cruise is so exciting. Our love of country music runs deep and getting to share our bluegrass and country roots is an honor," Elaine Roy added. "We are looking forward to playing music and playing in the sun."
The Country Music Cruise will travel throughout the Caribbean from January 18-25, 2015 on the luxury Holland America ms Eurodam, sailing from Ft. Lauderdale and making stops in the picturesque ports of Nassau, St. Thomas, St. Croix and the private island Half Moon Cay.
The 2015 cruise will offer live performances, bring back some of the most popular onboard activities featured on last year's inaugural sailing and add a wide array of new artist-based events. Select artists will make special appearances at the Gospel Hour, during songwriter workshops, guitar playing seminars, panel discussions, Q&A events, cooking exhibitions, CD listening parties, autograph sessions and many others. StarVista / Time Life and ECP will continue to partner with The Grand Ole Opry to create a series of exclusive events for cruise guests with details to be announced in the coming weeks.
Every person aboard the Country Music Cruise receives tickets to each main stage concert, invitations to daily activities and gourmet meals, all included in the cabin price, starting at just $2,150 per person.
