The Sounds Finish Third Album - And get ready to hit the road running

    The Sounds Photos

    • The Sounds - A view of the art installation 'Giant Walk-In Vagina' installed at a former women's prison by artist Reshma Chhiba in Johannesburg taken on August 27, 2013. I can't think of anything more visceral to install at a former women's prison than a giant walk-through vaginal canal. That's exactly what artist Reshma Chhiba has done at the old Women's Jail in Hillsbrow, Johannesburg, as part of her art exhibition 'The Two Talking Yonis.' (Yoni is the Sanskrit word for the vagina and/or vulva). Chhiba's installation is a a 12-meter long (approximately 39 feet) tunnel made from red velvet and cotton. Visitors to the tunnel experience the sounds of screaming and laughing, which are played inside.
    • The Sounds - Athletes parade as the image of the late British rock singer/composer John Lennon is projected to the sounds of his 'Imagine' during the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games at Olympic Stadium on August 12, 2012 in London. Rio de Janeiro will host the 2016 Olympic Games.
    • The Sounds - Siegfried Loch, aka Siggi Loch, head of the ACT label, poses during a photocall on January 26, 2010 in Cannes, southeastern France, as part of the music world's largest annual trade fair, MIDEM, to be held until January 27. From Taiwanese folk-pop to Korean hip-hop and Japanese techno and dance, the sounds of Asia are reverberating at this year's MIDEM music fest.
