The Strokes to Release their New Album in March

Former NYC "It" band The Strokes are gearing up for a comeback after fading from view after a splashy, much-heralded debut and somewhat less well-received follow up. The band is planning to release a new album in March of 2011. Lead singer Julian Casablancas told BBC 6 Music that the new platter is halfway done and that he band keeps getting distracted from finishing it. That in and of itself does not sound like a good sign. But the frontman elaborated, saying, "We've wanted to do it for months, or maybe a year now, and then we keep thinking 'OK, we'll do it for like these three weeks and we'll be done.' Then we do it and we decide we're not done, or something comes in the way." Classic procrastination, no doubt. But we will give the band some slack, because creativity ebbs and flows and works on its own damn clock.
Do you care about the possible return of The Strokes? Or have their fifteen minutes ticked off years ago? Like last decade?
