The Temper Trap Discuss "Thick As Thieves"

Toby Dundas, the drummer for Australian-born, UK-based rock band The Temper Trap, says the group's third studio LP, Thick As Thieves, has a "ragged edge to it." And maybe it's that bite that that helped shoot the record quickly to number one in the band's native land, making it their second top-charting output in as many efforts.
Thick As Thieves sees The Temper Trap returning to their hopeful, "bright eyed and bushy tailed" selves, and bringing back the raw energy that could be felt on their first record Conditions. In order to dig deeper into their emotions, the band looked to outside writers for the first time and also worked with GRAMMY award-winning producer Malay.
ARTISTdirect's Christopher Friedmann caught up with drummer Toby Dundas to discuss Thick As Thieves, the band's new hope and raw energy, and to get an idea of what it feels like to be a foreigner in London right now:
