From Animal Collective's second single off Painting With, "Lying in the Grass," to Drake's first track off Views From the 6, "Summer Sixteen," the first week of February saw the release of huge songs from some of the biggest artists in the music industry. Meek Mill wasn't about to let Drake drop a single without a response, and released "Fa Sho FT TDOT illdude." Charles Bradley preached "Change for the World." Loretta Lynn released her first single in six years, "Who's Gonna Miss Me?," off her upcoming 54th studio album, Full Circle. And Adele reminded us of "When We Were Young."

There was also a slew of superb new tracks released by lesser-known artists. Austin favorites White Denim got funky and everyone groovin' with "Ha Ha Ha Ha (Yeah)." Holy Ghost! put out "Crime Cutz" via James Murphy's (LCD Soundsystem) DFA Records. And Chicago's Twin Peaks unveiled the Lennon-esque "Walk to the one You Love."
