Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Phil Lesh & Friends, Willie Nelson and Wilco have all boarded this year's Lockn' Festival as headliners. The event takes place September 4 through September 7 at Oak Ridge Farm, located in the Blue Ridge mountains in Central Virginia.
Tucked away! We love it and it's a great way to end the summer.
The festival will see Lesh & Friends, which features musicians Warren Haynes, John Scofield, John Medeski and Joe Russo, playing an interlocking set with Bob Weir's RatDog, after which both bands will come together for a one-of-a-kind set that will serve as the two Grateful Dead members' only planned performance together this year.
Still with us? We know, it's a lot to process.
Also, Lesh, Weir, Wilco, Widespread Panic and The String Cheese Incident are all scheduled to play full sets on two different days, and Widespread Panic also have a special collaboration planned with Steve Winwood.
Fans of rock and jam bands CANNOT miss this event!
Other acts set to appear include The Allman Brothers Band, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Gary Clark, Jr., Umphrey's McGee, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Hot Tuna Acoustic, Dumpstaphunk, Grateful Grass, The Wood Brothers, The Chris Robinson Band, The Del McCoury Band and the BS Brass Band.
