Tool Working on New Material

Tool have begun writing new material for their first album since 2006's 10,000 Days. Tool's latest newsletter to fans stated: "Members of the band are still in the process of writing new material (three days a week)… it shouldn't be long before the dry-erase board is filled with a bewildering array of color-coded intros, progressions, agitatos, con sordinos, crescendos, diatonics, inversions, resolutions, transitions, variations, obbligatos, consonance, and endings – the arrangements that millions will attempt to download off the Internet." Typical Tool: cryptic and fully arousing our curiosity. Get your minds out of the gutter if you thought we were going to say it aroused something else!
In other Tool related news, the DVD/Blu-Ray release of Blood Into Wine, the documentary about enigmatic vocalist Maynard James Keenan's Arizona vineyard, has moved to September 4. The film has generated interest in the theatrical realm, so the DVD release has been pushed to accommodate the renewed interest.
Would you like to drink a bottle of MJK’s wine? Can that man do any wrong?
