This week we heard new tracks from Islands and Fetty Wap. Psychic Ills dropped by with an organ-powered sun-bath called "Another Change," a beautiful take on melancholic, spaced-out Americana, which recalls Spiritualized.

Holy Ghost!'s "Crime Cutz," the first single from a soon to be released EP of the same name, is actually a remix done by Neon Indian. The song is a portable dance floor.

Brian Eno continues to tease out The Ship. This week, he premiered "Fickle Sun (iii) I'm Set Free," a cover of the Velvet Underground's tender song from their 1969 self-titled LP.

The top songs of the week are presented by Harriet Tubman, the new face on the $20 dollar bill. It's about time, and, enjoy!

    Elvis Depressedly, "Slip"

Elvis Depressedly comes through on this sun-speckled mumbler, "Slip," featuring a pleasant hop-along beat. Feeling down never felt so good!

    case/lang/veirs, "Honey and Smoke"

The supergroup featuring the talents of Neko Case, k.d. Lang, and Laura Veirs offers this track from their upcoming self-titled release; baroque, shimmering, sensual, and nostalgic, it lives up to its title beautifully.

    Aloha, "Don't Wanna Win"

Indie rockers Aloha compose a compelling portrait on "Don't Wanna Win." This thoughtful song finds the balance between melodic optimism and lingering doubts.

Erykah Badu, "I Been Goin' Thru It All (Happy 4/20 Mix)"

Badu's remix of Wintertime's relatively obscure 2015 banger "Thru It All" is blessed. Badu's jaded gravitas elevates the moody trap beat, and takes it to the bank.

    Mark Pritchard, "Under The Sun"

The title track from Pritchard's forthcoming LP is built around an intoxicating vocal sample that chops up the phrases "Under the sun/ for every evil/ there is a remedy." Pritchard's trip down the rabbit hole is a hypnotic, relaxing, and—thanks to an incessant bass drum—fully functional dance jam.
