We remained glued to the airwaves all week and our hard work was rewarded with a whole slew of new songs that tickled our eardrums. Charli XCX released her newest EP, Vroom Vroom (Vroom Vroom Recordings), today, but before that she got in award-season mode and debuted "Trophy." M.I.A. found an old track, "Bomb Add," and finally let us hear it; along with a skit about her super bowl lawsuit. Baauer finally seems to be shaking off "Harlem Shake" and delivered "Kung Fu [ft. Future and Pusha T]."

It wasn't only big names getting us all hot and bothered about what we could be hearing throughout 2016. Icona Pop released the, ahem, poptastic "Someone Who Can Dance." White Lung released the well-crafted and more-approachable "Hungry," leaving us begging for more. Woods returned with some more of their always delectable indie-folk flavors via "Can't See At All." And that was only the beginning for a week that saw some incredible new songs from some of our favorite artists.

    Here are our favorites:

    Glitterbust - "The Highline"

Kim Gordon is back, and with her new 9-minute track, "The Highline," let us know that she will always be a force to be reckoned with. Her new band Glitterbust with Alex Knost will release their self-titled debut this March.

Azealia Banks - "The Big Beat"

With a classic big beat and her always glowing voice, Azealia Banks returned to the forefront of the music industry, and it feels like she never left. Her debut album, 2014's Broke with Expensive Taste, seems like it was just a taste of what's to come.

    Kero Kero Bonito - "Lipslap"

Few make pop music that is as easy to consume yet razor-sharp and clever as Kero Kero Bonito. It's the kind of bubble gum music you can chew on all day, but underneath lies something much more filling. "Lipslap" continues in this tradition and doesn't disappoint.
