Total Recall is Recalled
Total Recall, the 1990-released sci-fi action film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as a secret agent who does battle with a despot who controls the production of air, is being remade. Neal H. Mortiz will develop and produce the film for Columbia. Like so many current Hollywood remakes of 1980s and 1990s films, the film will modernize the original's plot to reflect the current era. Total Recall is noteworthy since it marked one of Sharon Stone's earliest film roles. The original, based on a Philip K. Dick story, was a worldwide success, pulling in $261 million in box office tallies. It has not been determined if Stone will have anything to do with the new Recall.
