Teaming up with Chris Rock for remake of Death at a Funeral
Tracy Morgan, Martin Lawrence to Attend Funeral
Powerhouse comedians Tracey Morgan and Martin Lawrence are joining Chris Rock in Rock's previously announced remake of Death at a Funeral. Screen Gems and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment are remaking the indie British comedy, which was released in 2007. A spring start is planned.James Marsden, Zoe Saldana, Danny Glover, and Columbus Short have also taken roles in the ensemble comedy, during which a funeral ceremony comes undone thanks to misplaced bodies and the revelation of long-held family secrets. Rock co-wrote the script and will produce.
