Triton Festival Line up Announced - Calling all goth/industrial/dance fans

    • Razed in Black - In general, it's seldom that a good Goth or Industrial tour comes around. So to have twenty-five amazing Goth/Industrial groups perform in one location over the course of three nights was nothing short of phenomenal. The first-ever Triton Festival was amazing each night, from start-to-finish through. Whether you were dancing to a local band like Anti-Mechanism at 8pm or hypnotically gazing at the legendary Apoptygma Berzerk at 2am, there was little room for boredom. The DJ’s between sets were also a nice touch. Uber-rare performances from the likes of Razed In Black, Icon of Coil, and Reaper only further added to the overall awe of the event. And with loads of merch tables, there were tons of ways to commemorate the night or just show off that you were there.—Lilly Ryden

The Triton Festival is a "must attend" event for fans of goth, industrial and dance music. The fest is scheduled for Labor Day Weekend, from Friday, September 3, through Sunday, September 5, so it's a great way to end your summer before you head back to college or to school! It will be held in Brooklyn at Coney Island, and will be all-ages. Apoptygma Berzerk, Razed in Black and Icon of Coil will all be performing. For a complete list of bands playing, visit http://tritonfestival.com/index.php.

My sources tells me that Icon of Coil's performance is going to be super rare, since the lead singer is busy with his other gig in Combichrist. Razed in Black are also super rare because the last time they toured was in 2006 and last album they released was in 2003. So get your tickets now so you can enjoy all this industrial and goth music.

Will you attend this fest and wear latex in the heat of the summer?
