    Sports fans and gamers, have we got a tip for you! The Major League Gaming championship is an event you do not want to miss. This weekend, top professional athletes will head to the Major League Gaming (MLG) Spring Championship in Anaheim, California to showcase their skills in another arena – that of video gaming.

    Dwight Howard of the Los Angeles Lakers, Dez Bryant of the Dallas Cowboys, Ty Lawson of the Denver Nuggets and DeJuan Blair of the San Antonio Spurs will join hundreds of competitors striving to make a name for themselves amongst professional video gamers.

    On Saturday, June 29 at approximately 7:30PM PT, fans around the globe can tune in here to watch Howard, Bryant, Lawson and Blair battle it out an All-Star Showdown broadcast live from the MLG Spring Championship.

    The NBA and NFL superstars will be paired with some of the best professional competitive video game players in the world for a 4 v 4 match. Howard will also join MLG personality Chris Puckett to commentate the competition.

    The MLG Spring Championship is expected to be one of the largest competitions in the 10-year history of the video game league. In addition to the exhibition match, hundreds of the best gamers from around the globe will compete from Friday, June 28 through Sunday, June 30 for a chance at $100,000 in prizes.

    Thousands of fans will descend upon the Anaheim Convention Center to watch in person and millions more will watch online. The three-day competition will be broadcast live starting Friday, June 28 at 5PM at www.majorleaguegaming.com. Onsite spectators can watch the competitions, try out new and unreleased games, meet and play against pro players and more.
