TV on the Radio members to play Brooklyn Next Festival
The Brooklyn Academy of Music's second annual Brooklyn Next festival has announced a lineup bound to please indie fans and hipsters across the city and beyond. 17 Brooklyn venues are set to have over 175 performances as well as art exhibits and workshops. The dates for this indie explosion are February 15-16 and February 20-24.The lineup includes a two-man set by Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone of TV on the Radio. Other artists appearing are the National, My Brightest Diamond, Laura Cantrell, Excepter, White Rabbits, Tony Conrad, Death Vessel, former Del Fuegos lead singer Dan Zanes and friends and more.
There will also be a birthday tribute to the legend Johnny Cash.
