Tyler, The Creator has announced seven California tour dates for this upcoming April. Tyler explained on Twitter that he felt he "didn't really hit California last tour." These upcoming shows will be a continuation of last year's concert series behind his 2015 album, Cherry Bomb (Odd Future, RED). The seven California shows will be followed by a June appearance at Bonnaroo and a July performance in Ireland at Longitude 2016.
The tour begins April 1st at Observatory North Park in San Diego, California, and concludes April 9th in Santa Clara, California at The Catalyst. Tyler will also be putting on concerts at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California, the Rainbow Room in Fresno, and a variety of other locales.
Tyler, the Creator's July performance in Ireland will be his first return to the British Isles since he was banned from the U.K. for 3-5 years due to the content of his lyrics. Rathfarnham, Ireland, where the festival is being held, is not part of the United Kingdom and therefore is not forced to comply with British law.
Cherry Bomb was Tyler's last release and there have been no announcements about new music coming out of his camp. However, Tyler was seen at Kanye's studio in the weeks leading up to the release of The Life of Pablo. For more on Tyler, the Creator, check out:
