Few guys out there can write with as much heart as Tyrone Wells.
On his latest album, Where We Meet, Wells continues to expand and evolve as a songwriter. There's an organic fun to the handclaps of the album's first track "Freedom". Of course, a massive hook kicks in and takes hold driven by Wells' dynamic voice. The bare acoustic guitar at the beginning of "You're the One" flutters along with the singer's love letter just before dreamy keys envelope everything. "Where We Meet" reaches ethereal heights even Coldplay can't cop to, while the gorgeous piano on "Don't Be Afraid" remains staggering.
The album is a place where all of his talents meet for one incredible aural story. You'll be hearing these in films and television most likely very soon…The world really needs more honest and hearfelt fellas like Wells behind the mic and on stage.
At the end of the day, Wells is one of the most inspiring and invigorating modern singer-songwriters. Not only can he pen elegantly catchy hooks, but his lyrics tell vivid and vibrant stories that are impossible not to feel. Where We Meet is utterly captivating, and it's the next stop on Wells's road to legend.
