Now this ought to get someone fired!
UK authorities have launched an investigation after a confidential report into the death of Amy Winehouse was accidentally sent to someone it should not have been sent to!
The film, which reportedly outlined the circumstances surrounding the singer's death in July was supposed to have been sent to the late star's family; instead it was accidentally sent to a stranger. How the hell does that happen?
An anonymous person - likely the mistaken recipient- turned the report over to the North London police.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard told Britain's Sunday Mirror that "police were informed that material relating to a forthcoming inquest may have been delivered to an incorrect address. The material has since been handed in. An inquiry is under way to establish the full circumstance."
Amy Winehouse was found dead in her bed on July 23 at the age of 27. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
What punishment is appropriate for a confidential information leak such as this?
